Why did you sign up for Different?

I was initially nominated my Chief Exec. I saw it as an ideal opportunity to develop my skills and help me as I look to progress in my career. It came at the perfect time as I was at a crossroad in my professional career and looking for some focus and drive which it definitely helped with.

What impact has Different made to you?

The course has given me knowledge, confident and connections to be able to move forward with my career. I've learnt so much from the Meena and Deborah as experts in the field, as well as the fantastic speakers and trainers that have facilitated sessions. It has allowed me to reach out to senior colleagues in my organisation for support and guidance as well as identify tangible projects I can work to improve my portfolio of examples as well as improve outcomes for the people of Sheffield. I've loved being on the course and also met some great people in the cohort who I hope to keep in touch with beyond the course.
